Welcome and Thank You For Visiting

RI State House

Alexander is a proud first-gen American who grew up in a Hispanic bi-cultural home in the southside of Providence, RI, and had the privilege of blending his Dominican Heritage and American values.

Alex sees himself as a community mentor and an advocate for the underserved. Growing up in the southside, he attended Providence public schools his whole life, so he witnessed and even experienced how detrimental it can be for kids and entire communities when it lacks positive roles models and mentors.

That’s why he decided to pursue higher ed, starting at CCRI and eventually graduating URI with a Masters in Public Administration (MPA), with the intentions of becoming a voice and advocate for the underrepresented at a decision-making level within Government. Alex’s career goal is to work as an administrator in the Department of Education in Washington, D.C, to make financial aid support more accessible and equitable.
